Each local Q Foundation Event Coordinator starts the process of registering their own fundraising event

The following information is provided to support your efforts:

Each Chick-fil-A location is independently owned and operated and may offer different fundraisers. Contact your closest Chick-fil-A for specific details.

Chick-fil-A has several different fundraising opportunities available.

  1. Spirit Night - Partnering with Chick-fil-A Fountain to host a Spirit Night is one of the most popular and easiest ways to raise money for your organization. Simply pick a date and time, and invite your organization members, staff and supporters to dine at your local Chick-fil-A restaurant. The restaurant will donate a percentage of the sales made during your Spirit Night event to your organization. The more guests you bring to dine at Chick-fil-A® during the specified time, the higher the donation from Chick-fil-A will be. Chick-fil-A® makes it easy by providing promotional materials (at your request) to help you publicize the event to your supporters.
  2. Cow Calendar Sales - Let your Chick-fil-A® contact know how many calendars you would like to reserve for your fundraiser so they can order the correct amount.
    1. Option 1: Presell the Chick-fil-A® Cow Calendars
      Set a start and end date for your fundraiser. Your organization members will collect orders and payment for the Chick-fil-A®Cow Calendars during this time using the Cow Calendar Fundraising Envelopes provided by Chick-fil-A®. The envelopes are helpful selling tools that feature artwork from the calendar, as well as details about the FREE monthly menu item offers that come with the calendar.
      Once organization members complete the fundraiser, arrange for delivery of and payment for the calendars with your Chick-fil-A® contact. Organization members will then deliver the calendars to those who purchased them.
    2. Option 2: Sell the Chick-fil-A® Cow Calendars at Special Events
      Request delivery of your Chick-fil-A® Cow Calendars in August and sell them at your fall fundraising events.   3. Sell Chick-fil-A® Food at Events - You can sell the following Chick-fil-A® menu items at events:
    1. Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwiches
    2. Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuits

Meet with your Chick-fil-A® contact to order the food for your fundraiser, which will be delivered to you in thermal coolers to maintain proper food temperature.
Consider posting signage at your sales table to promote the fact that you are selling the Chick-fil-A® food as a fundraiser for your organization. Share the amount of your fundraising goal and how the funds will be used. Publicize the fact that you will be selling Chick-fil-A® food as a fundraiser in any pre-event communications sent to organization members.

Tips for Success

  • Provide details about your Chick-fil-A® Spirit Night in any e-newsletter you send to supporters, and include details about your fundraising goal. Sharing a specific goal will help motivate your supporters to attend.
  • Promote your Chick-fil-A® Spirit Night to supporters using social media. Encourage your supporters to bring family and friends to the event since your donation from Chick-fil-A® will increase when more guests dine at Chick-fil-A® during the specified time.
  • Consider inviting a special guest, local celebrity or entertainer to be part of your Chick-fil-A® Spirit Night to help drive attendance.
  • Send your local newspaper the details about your Chick-fil-A® Spirit Night fundraiser, and ask them to feature the fundraiser in their events section.

How will the funds be used?
To perpetuate the financial support and expand the funding provided by the Order of Quetzalcoatl to enable and/or assist children in achieving care in/through the Shriners Hospital for Children system, including, but not limited to, the transportation, temporary housing, meal and sundry expenses of patients, and accompanying guardians of patients, under the care of, or being evaluated for care, at The Shriners Hospitals for Children and all affiliated clinics and outreach facilities, additionally to financially support the capital purchase of transportation equipment, telemedicine or other general medical equipment, infrastructure and associated maintenance services, or as otherwise determined by the Trustees, including but not limited to, charitable programs sponsored by the Order of Quetzalcoatl meeting the Q Foundation for Kids purpose criteria.
